In 2018, Netflix aired the first season of Dave's new long-form interview show, "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction." As of 2022, he has had 4 seasons. Guests have included: Dave Chappelle, Former President Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jerry Seinfeld, Will Smith, Cardi B, Howard Stern, Tina Fey and others. The show has been nominated for 3 primetime Emmys. 

In June of 2022, Netflix released a new show featuring Letterman. It's called "That's My Time with David Letterman." The show has Dave talking with up-and-coming young comedians. It was recorded at the Netflix is a Joke comedy festival in Los Angeles.
